Innovative Post Press solutions from RIMA-SYSTEM
On upcoming DRUPA 2008, RIMA-SYSTEM will present an extended product portfolio with new and innovative Post Press solutions. Ranging from optimized rotary trimming lines and compact constructed blocking units to log stackers, high-speed palletizing solutions and digitalization of production processes, RIMA-SYSTEM will present new developments for the complete Post Press range. All new products stand out due to groundbreaking features to ensure an efficient and reliable production.
New rotary trimming line RS 831 with electric format adjustment
With the new RS 831 with electric format adjustment (optional) and improved design, a new rotary trimming line is presented. Via Job Ticket and PPMS software, the RS 831 is ready for implementation of digital workflow to reduce time- and cost-intensive manual adjustment. Due to the complete encapsulation of the trimming modules, loudness is reduced in analogy to more stringent noise protection terms.
Innovative log stacker RS 610
The RS 610 log stacker is an A4 optimized high-speed log stacker with innovative log building technology.
In consideration of current circulation, the accurate production separation allows real-time calculation and flexible building of the required amount of logs of same length during running production. Due to this innovative technology, there will be no deviant length of the last log. So, the RS 610 is specially suited for application behind web presses with short circulations and on-the-fly plate change (ZMR rotations).
New blocking unit RS 120
RIMA-SYSTEM presents the RS 120, an A4 optimized blocking unit. Cycle times of about 2 seconds, the compact design and a safety light barrier are the highlights of the RS 120.
Optimized log palletizer RS 655
The RS 655 is specially designed for application behind the RS 610. Outstanding feature is the compact but open design. Instead of a mounted iron grid, the palletizing area is secured by a safety light barrier which is less space-consuming and simplifies the evacuation of full pallets. Thanks to intelligent design of the vertical axis, the RS 655 is suited for operation in production rooms with low ceilings. Optional features are log rotation, an automated slip sheet feeder and the outstanding possibility to put two logs, each with a length of 600 mm, together onto the pallet.
Implementation of digital workflow
RIMA-SYSTEM takes up the challenge of digital workflow by implementation of the so called Job Ticket and PPMS software. All order and production data can be merged, saved and transported to every specific Post Press aggregate. The electronic administration of data ensures an automatic adjustment of the complete Post Press system depending on actual production. Via data import/export, customer specific data formats can be used for monitoring and controlling of all production processes.
Innovative high-end palletizing robot
RIMA-SYSTEM‘s highlight on DRUPA 2008 will be a new palletizing robot with up to 2000 cycles per hour. Curious about the RS 500? Then visit us at DRUPA 2008!
All new developed solutions will be shown at DRUPA in a full operational Post Press line.
The RIMA-SYSTEM stand D45 will be found in hall 14.
