Baumann Druck in Kulmbach, Germany invited partner, customers and supplier to an Open House on April 25 to celebrate their newly installed Lithoman III web press.

Beside the printing equipment itself, the post press system from RIMA-SYSTEM was also presented. Customized to the specific limitations of the available space in the press room, all installed post press machines ensure the fast and efficient finishing of the printed products. Conveying and trimming systems as well as compensating stackers and a palletizing robot guarantee that all products are processed and transported from the folder delivery to the pallet fully automatically. In light of a press speed of up to 60.000 rph and a high print run volume, all machines had to be synchronized and optimally adjusted to ensure continuous, high-quality production.

A remote maintenance access allows for efficient customer support 24 hours a day and minimizes down-times. Fast and cost-saving monitoring and diagnostics without the time-consuming and expensive requirement of an on-site technician can be conducted at any time. Operators and maintenance crews can be remotely instructed and supported as well.
