RIMA-SYSTEM, a leading and continuously growing supplier of post press systems, will present its complete product portfolio at the upcoming IFRA 2008. The product line includes conveying, trimming, lift and log stacking as well as palletizing and ranges from single delivery applications to completely automated systems. All RIMA-SYSTEM products feature innovative and reliable technology to increase the productivity of newspaper and commercial printers as well as bookbinders.

Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the superior quality of RIMA-SYSTEM’s equipment first hand at the show where an RS 36 Indexing Stacker and an RS 820 Rotary Knife Trimmer will be on display.

Besides the presentation of additional product information (like details about highly automated palletizing solutions and software for digitalization of production processes), RIMA-SYSTEM will proudly introduce the newly founded subsidiary CIVIEMME-SYSTEM S.r.l. and its product portfolio. The Italian company specializes in vertical log stacking equipment, including coldset applications (e.g. telephone books) and spare parts support for all installed components of the former CIVIEMME SpA.

With more than 9,000 stackers sold and hundreds of system installations worldwide, RIMA-SYSTEM has established itself as a leading supplier of post press equipment. Introduced will be RIMA-SYSTEM’s new RS 610 High Speed Log Stacker, the latest in horizontal log building automation, featuring closed loop speed control, automatic end board feeding, remote access and one of the fastest cycle times on the market. Operation of the RS 610 is safe and easy, thanks to the open log building area, single-side operation and easy accessibility to all maintenance points.

Also on display will be the RS 830 Rotary Trimming Line and the RS 36 Indexing Stacker. The RS 830 Rotary Trimming Line integrates two trimming modules and a bump turn on a stable, movable frame. Proven features like an integrated passive knife cooling guarantee a precise cut, a perfect run-out and a long edge life. Highest reliability, low knife prices and inexpensive re-sharpening minimize the operation costs. The RS 36 Indexing Stacker is equipped with a set of moving forks, which gently collect the product in the upper bin. Together with the smart servo pusher and integrated bundle delivery system, superior bundle quality on light and heavy pagination work is ensured.

On August 1, 2008, CIVIEMME-SYSTEM was integrated into the RIMA-SYSTEM group. All RIMA-SYSTEM project centers are now exclusively providing the vertical log stacking equipment of the former CIVIEMME S.p.A. as well as spare parts support for all installed CIVIEMME components.
